From Hosea Kutako International Airport
Upon leaving Hosea Kutako International Airport, take the B6 highway westward towards Windhoek. After approximately 15 km, turn left onto the C23 in the direction of Dordabis. Follow this tar road for about 30 km until you have crossed the Skaap river and see a sign for Auas Safari Lodge. Turn right onto the D1463, and continue on this gravel road for approximately 26 km and then the main gate to Waldeck Lodge is on your right. About 5 km down the well-maintained Waldeck gravel road you will find a road sign to turn left for the lodge. Continue another 5 km and you will reach Waldeck Lodge, nestled in the breathtaking Namibian landscape.
From Windhoek
Depart Windhoek via the B1, heading south in the direction of Rehoboth and South Africa. Stay on this road for about 20 km before turning left onto the D1463. Follow the gravel road for approximately 11 km, enjoying the wide-open savannah views along the way. The gate to Waldeck Lodge will be on your left. About 5 km down the well-maintained Waldeck gravel road you will find a road sign to turn left for the lodge. Continue another 5 km and you will reach Waldeck Lodge, nestled in the breathtaking Namibian landscape.
From the South (Rehoboth & Beyond)
If you’re traveling from the south, take the B1 north towards Windhoek. Approximately 70 km after passing through Rehoboth, turn left onto the D1463. Follow this gravel road for another 11 km, surrounded by the untamed beauty of the Namibian wilderness. The gate to Waldeck Lodge will be on your left. About 5 km down the well-maintained Waldeck gravel road you will find a road sign to turn left for the lodge. Continue another 5 km and you will reach Waldeck Lodge, nestled in the breathtaking Namibian landscape.
